Saturday’s afternoon and evening event was held at Illiana Christian High School and included games for the children, an exciting balloon release, panoramic family photograph, catered dinner, Dutch flower making demonstration, genealogy meeting, and more. A lively evening program included awards, presentations and a spirited singing of the Eenigenburg Anthem.

On Sunday, a special family church service at Munster Christian Reformed Church (which Gerrit Eenigenburg helped found) included musical and other “pulpit participation” by various Eenigenburg family members. A graveside memorial service at the graves of Gerrit and Jannetje Eenigenburg followed. The weekend festivities concluded with a luncheon for all attendees at Bethel Christian Reformed Church.
