The Eenigenburg Museum

The Eenigenburg Museum is exciting news for our family. How many families can claim a village that carries its ancestral name, not to mention an historic museum to carry out its legacy!!

The Eenigenburg Museum!! The historic house (Phase I) in the
background behind the beautiful new documentation center (Phase II).

From the magnificent, three-meter long replica of the Massachusetts of Boston…to the rich history of the village of Eenigenburg…to the inspiring story of early pioneer life and the Eenigenburg family today…the museum brings our family’s story to life as never before.

Now, imagine how you’d feel to be permanently remembered as a “founder” of the Eenigenburg Museum in the Village of Eenigenburg!! Won’t you consider making a contribution today? Please take a moment to read the Important Messages from the Village of Eenigenburg.

During Phase I, nearly $10,000 was raised in the U.S., and much more has been raised in The Netherlands, for this project.

Your help is needed!

The Eenigenburg Foundation

The Eenigenburg Stichting (Foundation) is building the museum. This foundation was created in 1989 by the late village historian, Klaas van Schoneveld and the late Maartje van Hesteren (the most recent chair). Cor Beemsterboer (current chairman and treasurer), Douwe van den Berg (secretary), and Bart Jansma now manage the foundation.
